Customer Hub (My Moftgate)
Guide to the My Moftgate Customer Hub: one-click SSO, self-service 200 EV license renewal, live server telemetry, quota requests and engineering support.
Overview & Architecture#
My Moftgate Customer Hub is the self-service operations and license governance center for Moftgate on-premises appliances.
Traditional enterprise security software forces administrators through cumbersome vendor emails, distributor quote approvals, and manual key exchanges just to extend trial periods or renew baseline licenses. Customer Hub eliminates this friction completely. By linking your on-premises server to your dedicated cloud portal, you gain immediate autonomy over your deployment.
| Capability | Description |
|---|---|
| 1-Click Cryptographic SSO | Zero-password authentication using HMAC-SHA256 tokens bound to your Machine ID. |
| Self-Serve 200 EV Tier | Provision or extend your free 200 Endpoint Visibility license for 1 full year with zero procurement delay. |
| Live Telemetry Dashboard | Real-time CPU, RAM, and Disk consumption charts with 30-day historical trend analysis. |
| Granular Module Upgrades | Request DLP, DSPM, or SSPM licenses with custom seat numbers and deployment requirements. |
| Direct Engineering Support | Submit tickets that route straight to core Moftgate engineers without tiered distributor delays. |
| Data Sovereignty Guarantee | 100% on-premises containment: your sensitive files and logs never leave your network. |
Account Settings & 1-Click SSO Launch#
Connect to your portal in seconds using cryptographic HMAC-SHA256 authentication without managing passwords.
Inside your on-premises Moftgate console, access Account Settings > "My Moftgate Account" tab. The system displays your unique hardware Machine ID, connected cloud status, and an instant SSO button. Clicking this button signs an authenticated launch payload and redirects you directly into Customer Hub with an active 60-minute session.
- 1Open Account Settings in your Moftgate Console
Navigate to your user avatar or Settings in the top-right corner of your on-premises Moftgate console and select Account Settings.
- 2Select the My Moftgate Account tab
Click the "My Moftgate Account" tab to view your appliance Machine ID, connection status, and license summary.
- 3Launch 1-Click SSO
Click the "Connect to My Moftgate Portal" button. Your appliance creates a tamper-proof HMAC-SHA256 token and opens your cloud portal session immediately.
- 4Manage your instance in Customer Hub
Manage your active licenses, renew free tiers, monitor hardware utilization, or submit support tickets.
200 EV Free License Generation & 1-Year Renewal#
Self-provision or extend your free Endpoint Visibility tier for up to 200 endpoints, valid for 365 days.
Moftgate believes foundational endpoint discovery, hardware inventory, and patch auditing should be accessible to every enterprise without artificial barriers. Customer Hub allows you to generate and renew your 200 EV license key automatically at any time.
- 1Open the 200 EV Activation Modal
On the Customer Hub overview, click "Renew 200 EV License" or "Generate Free License".
- 2Confirm Organization & Machine ID Details
Review the appliance identifier and company details. The modal confirms a 365-day validity period and 200 endpoint visibility quota.
- 3Generate the Cryptographic License Key
Click "Create License". The portal generates an AES-256 encrypted license key bound to your Machine ID and records it in your history.
- 4Apply Key to On-Premises Console
Copy the generated key, navigate to System > License in your Moftgate console, paste the key, and click "Apply License".
Live Server Health Telemetry & Resource Trends#
Monitor on-premises appliance hardware utilization and resource saturation trends in real time.
Your Moftgate server periodically transmits lightweight hardware health metrics to Customer Hub. This gives SecOps and infrastructure administrators early visibility into capacity bottlenecks before they impact endpoint communication.
| Telemetry Metric | Operational Significance |
|---|---|
| CPU Usage (%) | Monitors core processing load from agent polling, regex inspection, and OCR workloads. |
| Memory Usage (RAM %) | Tracks resident memory consumption across PostgreSQL, Redis, and Moftgate worker daemons. |
| Disk Space Usage (%) | Monitors primary storage volume capacity, incident database growth, and snapshot archives. |
| Connected Endpoints | Total live agent count communicating with the server within the retention window. |
| Active Daemons | Health status of background services (task queues, DLP analyzers, SIEM forwarders). |
Quota & Module Upgrade Requests#
Scale beyond 200 endpoints or activate enterprise DLP, DSPM, and SSPM security modules.
When your organization expands or requires deeper inspection capabilities like Data Loss Prevention or SaaS Security Posture Management, submit a Quota Upgrade request directly from the portal.
Engineering Support & Ticket Tracking#
Communicate directly with core platform engineers and track ticket progress in real time.
Customer Hub includes an integrated support center where administrators can open tickets for technical inquiries, integration guidance, or feature requests. Requests are routed directly to on-duty engineers and internal Slack channels for immediate triage.
Security, Cryptography & Data Sovereignty#
Built from the ground up to respect enterprise compliance, air-gapped environments, and strict data protection laws.
Moftgate is engineered with a privacy-first approach. Customer Hub never accesses, transmits, or stores sensitive endpoint files, employee activity logs, PII findings, or database queries. All deep inspection and forensic timelines remain 100% on your internal server.
- Machine Binding: Generated license keys are cryptographically locked to your physical server Machine ID.
- Ephemeral SSO Tokens: Launch signatures are single-use and expire within 300 seconds.
- Zero Data Exfiltration: Only basic hardware metrics (CPU, RAM, Disk) and license metadata are shared.
- Encrypted at Rest & in Transit: All portal communications enforce TLS 1.3 encryption and HTTP-only session cookies.
