Endpoint Inventory
View hardware, operating system, software, network, startup, and health details for every managed endpoint.
What the Inventory Is#
The endpoint inventory is the factual record of what a device is and what is on it. It is collected by the agent directly from the operating system, not assembled from scans of the network.
Because it is read from the device, the inventory is the reference you use when a ticket claims a machine has different hardware, a different version, or different software than expected.
Inventory Sections#
The inventory is divided into seven sections. Open the endpoint from the fleet view and select the section you need:
| Section | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Hardware | Make, model, serial number, CPU, memory, disk devices, and disk health. |
| Operating system | Version, build, architecture, installation date, and activation state. |
| Software | Installed applications with version and publisher, including unauthorised software detection. |
| Network | Interfaces, addresses, listening ports, and active external connections. |
| Startup items | Programs and services configured to start automatically, with their publisher. |
| Users | Local accounts, the current operating system user, and recent sign-in activity. |
| Health | Resource usage, uptime, and agent health for the device itself. |
Search and Filtering#
- Search is performed on the server, so it works on a fleet of any size without loading every row.
- Every inventory list supports sorting, so you can order by version, publisher, or last-seen time.
- The advanced filter drawer builds filters from the columns of the list and saves them for reuse.
- Filter by operating system, status, group, tag, and profile to narrow the fleet before you search inside it.
Data Accuracy#
The inventory reports only what can be measured natively. If a value cannot be read because of permissions or hardware limitations, the field shows an explicit unavailable state rather than an approximation.
